The raw materials for electric wires and cables are mostly carried in bulk bags or ton bags, and many factories have unclear allocation of positions and sloppy markings on the ground, which leads to improper material placement, problems such as messy and disorganized material storage, difficulty in finding materials, and constant safety hazards.

A well-established specialized manufacturer of specialty and dedicated cables in China needed to reduce transportation costs and avoid the pain points of material surface scratches and material degradation caused by stacking storage methods and climate conditions. The company partnered with Yufeng Intelligent to carry out intelligent transformation of its raw material warehouse, upgrading the "ground stack warehouse" to a "smart vertical warehouse" that includes curved track stacker cranes and conveyors, and combining WMS and WCS software systems to create a "hardware-software integrated" intelligent warehouse, greatly improving the efficiency and accuracy of material entry, with significant effects in storage capacity, cost reduction, and lean management.

一、Low cost storage of raw materials can be achieved by means of curved rail stacking

According to the customer's demand for raw materials, the project adopts double extension bend rail stacker, so that each stacker can switch freely in multiple laneways. Compared with the general straight rail stacker, it can meet the customer's demand for inbound and outbound flow while greatly reducing the enterprise's input cost.
